Rebel Road’s Stance on AI in Music

As artificial intelligence continues to evolve and influence creative industries, Rebel Road would like to clarify our position regarding AI in music creation and distribution.

At Rebel Road, we are committed to supporting authentic artistry. We do not distribute AI-generated music, vocals, or fully machine-created works. Music should reflect the human experience — creativity, emotion, and intent — and that’s something we continue to stand by.

However, we do allow AI-assisted tools that enhance the creative process. Artists may use services such as Dolby.io’s AI Mastering, Canva’s AI design tools, or similar software to assist in production, mixing, mastering, or artwork design — provided that the final content remains artist-led and human-created.

If any artist submits content that is determined to be primarily AI-generated, the release will be rejected. Repeated submissions of such material may result in contract termination. Our goal is to maintain artistic integrity while allowing artists to embrace technology responsibly.

We believe technology should empower creativity — not replace it. Stay true to your art, and let AI be a tool, not the creator.
